ANDREA - a full time Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi instructor.

I fell in love with yoga over seven years ago, when I got a Nintendo DS and bought a game called Let's Yoga. From then, I began 'playing' yoga everyday, sometimes twice a day. At first, the practice was more physical for me, but after few months I started to really count on yoga to bring me a sense of calm during especially chaotic days. Soon after, I began recognizing the benefits of a regular asana and meditation practice and continued to incorporate yoga daily - not just during times of chaos. I found myself feeling more energized, more compassionate, happier, and with more awareness. Now, I teach full-time and couldn't be happier to do what I love. What began as a physical practice for strength and flexibility quickly became a lifestyle. I teach my students to take their yoga off the mat and apply the principles learned in the class to their lives outside of the studio. I do not only teach my philosophy, I live it.

My super cool intro video 😁


Woo hoo - the intro video is finished thanks to a very talented and creative Michal - I love it!!!! ❤❤❤

We were filming all day and found 25 perfect locations - it was hard work, but it certainly did pay off - everything is real on the video! 😁😁

A glimpse into the last filming with Alena and Justé

 We are done with filming for this year, because Alena and me are going home next week and this week was pretty busy for us all. But I want to show you a short ´teaser´ of Justé´s new toy - the slider, which I really liked. The video is a close-up to a Seated Forward Bend. Make sure your feet are pointing towards you and you can bend your knees a little bit to do a deeper bend.

Videjká

Jedna šikovná kočka ma poprosila o pár videí, aby mohla cvičiť pekne sama doma, tak som si urobila prieskum a tu je pár :)


Toto sem pridávam len preto, lebo je úplne úžasné a od zajtra to idem aj ja skúšať! je neuveriteľné čo človek dokáže, keď trénuje poctivo.


Nič nie je nemožné :)

Ako začať s jogou

Mnoho ľudí by chcelo začať s jogou, ale nevedia ako. Netreba sa báť, stačí si vygoogliť videjká na jogu pre začiatočníkov a snažiť sa robiť cviky s nimi alebo, čo je ešte jednoduchšie, nájsť si učiteľa jogy. 

Na začiatku je najhlavnejšie si osvojiť základné polohy, z ktorých sa vychádza do cvikov, alebo v ktorých cviky končia (všetko je podrobne opísané v mojej knihe, ktorú by som chcela čoskoro vydať).

Našla som výborné videá, podľa ktorých sa dá veľmi pekne cvičiť a sú vhodné pre začiatočníkov, ale i pokročilých. Na začiatku postupujte pomaličky, snažte sa do každej pózy dostať čo najlepšie a keď ste s ňou spokojní, vydržte tak chvíľu. Dbajte i na dýchanie, ktoré by malo byť pomalé a pravidelné (skúste na 4 sekundy nádych a aj výdych)
