ANDREA - a full time Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi instructor.

I fell in love with yoga over seven years ago, when I got a Nintendo DS and bought a game called Let's Yoga. From then, I began 'playing' yoga everyday, sometimes twice a day. At first, the practice was more physical for me, but after few months I started to really count on yoga to bring me a sense of calm during especially chaotic days. Soon after, I began recognizing the benefits of a regular asana and meditation practice and continued to incorporate yoga daily - not just during times of chaos. I found myself feeling more energized, more compassionate, happier, and with more awareness. Now, I teach full-time and couldn't be happier to do what I love. What began as a physical practice for strength and flexibility quickly became a lifestyle. I teach my students to take their yoga off the mat and apply the principles learned in the class to their lives outside of the studio. I do not only teach my philosophy, I live it.

To my HRLC ladies!

It's been a privilege to work with you lovely ladies week after week, seeing you get fitter, stronger, healthier & happier! To be able to have a positive influence on other people's lives really is the best thing in the world :)

It's been the toughest week ever, so many goodbyes, but I've been truly touched by everyone's kind words, cards & gifts. My journey as your instructor has been amazing and I met so many incredible and inspirational people, and it's changed my life in ways I could never have imagined.

Love and hugs to all my ladies!!!! 😘

Thank you to each and every one of you that has come to my classes over the last (nearly) 4 years. It's been a real pleasure. I'll miss you x

These are some great pictures of us :) ENJOY!

Timetable changes from Jan 2017

Good afternoon my lovely yoga friends :) How are you doing today? I am teaching many classes today (6)... and there are some sad news and a great news for next year...
Sadly, I am giving up 2 classes - one in TruGym (as you know, I will miss you ladies and I would love to continue to teach there, but I don't like and don't agree how management is treating us instructors!) and the second class is my favourite Houghton Regis class, where we had so much fun and we have great memories from classes (glass of water challenge, frozen to death classes that doesn't include Tash :P) - so I am going to see you ladies in these 2 classes today and next week :) After, Ruby will take over the Pure Gym class and probably Natalie in Houghton Regis (it is not confirmed, yet)
And there are some good news, too!
I will have at least 2 new classes in my timetable in 2017 so I will teach in 2 more places :) One is in L&D hospital - there I will teach yoga for staff and the second class confirmed today is a 50+ yoga class on Fridays @12.30 (starting date needs to be confirmed) in Harpenden Sports Center. I can't wait to start these classes and meet new people!!! :)
I am going home (Slovakia) for Christmas (21st Dec - 4th Jan) so I will have a little break from teaching, however, I will still have yoga with my friends at home :)
So I am wishing you all a nice day and weekend!!! :)
