ANDREA - a full time Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi instructor.

I fell in love with yoga over seven years ago, when I got a Nintendo DS and bought a game called Let's Yoga. From then, I began 'playing' yoga everyday, sometimes twice a day. At first, the practice was more physical for me, but after few months I started to really count on yoga to bring me a sense of calm during especially chaotic days. Soon after, I began recognizing the benefits of a regular asana and meditation practice and continued to incorporate yoga daily - not just during times of chaos. I found myself feeling more energized, more compassionate, happier, and with more awareness. Now, I teach full-time and couldn't be happier to do what I love. What began as a physical practice for strength and flexibility quickly became a lifestyle. I teach my students to take their yoga off the mat and apply the principles learned in the class to their lives outside of the studio. I do not only teach my philosophy, I live it.

Day 7 Kids Challenge March 2015

And here is our last day of this month´s Kids Yoga Challenge - it´s been a pleasure to see all your photos, I will decide about each day winner tomorrow after all the photos will come through :P

And the pose for today is...
Crescent Moon Pose
The Crescent Moon Pose stretches and strengthens the arms and legs, increases stamina, improves balance and concentration, and can also relieve backaches. If you are suffering from diarrhea, high blood pressure or neck problems, you should take extra caution practicing this pose.

Day 6 Kids Yoga Challenge



We are nearly finishing our great and cute Kids Challenge, its only today and tomorrow for this month, but don't you worry, we'll continue in April :)

First day of March - our First Day of Kids Challenge!!!!

Kids were so encouraging the adults in our Valentines Challenge that I decided it is time to challenge them, too!!!
First week of each month will be a week of Kids Challenge, starting right now!!!
